I can think of no better words to describe our skiing vacations ever since my husband Giuseppe and I discovered this fabulous kid-friendly hotel in Selva Val Gardena. The Family Hotel Biancaneve – and the name says it all, really- is a truly special place where all wishes come true, for grown-ups and little ones alike.
Everything is simply perfect, starting with the location: on the slopes, near the ski school and the 4 blue pistes, which are fun and easy to manage. The Hotel is definitely designed for children. It all revolves around the Mini Club: here we met some professional and cheerful boys and girls who took care of my “Snow White” and “Dopey” from morning until the time we were back. After skiing lessons, the little ones have lunch all together with the Mini Club staff in the Seven Dwarfs Room: little wooden tables and chairs and a fairy-tale atmosphere. In the meantime, parents can go on skiing without worrying about their children.
Fully equipped and filled with games for all ages, the children’s area includes a pool with various depths and a constant temperature of 33° C, which is lovely even for grown-ups. There is also a children’s spa. As soon as we arrived, I booked a couple’s massage for the two of them (of course, I was allowed to watch!). A relaxing atmosphere, music, a delicate massage with chamomile oil and honey. And, much to my surprise, my two little volcanos, who are usually tireless bundles of energy, fell asleep.
Another special time of the day? The goodnight fairy-talereading, right before going to bed and dreaming of another fun-filled day of skiing!
