Flip-flops
The swimming pool ones, so super chic in the evening. All the big designers sent them down the runway: Chanel, Rochas, Prada, MiuMiu.
Metallic
Silver, gold, pink, bronze. Any shape as long as it glitters.
Light platforms

Sabots
Nearly bedroom slippers … super-chic by Prada, monochrome by Jil Sander, and glamorous Oriental-style babouche slippers worn with a silk kaftan.
Heels
Either no heels at all – see Maria Grazia Chiuri for Dior – or if heels, stiletto and pointed-toe; rarely square-toed; most often rounded and very new; or kitten heels, low and slender, which make your leg look amazingly long and lean.
Shoelaces
But also bows, strings, tassels and pompons…. Which tie up your ankle and make you look very sexy.
