Audrey was right: Paris is always a good idea! And the Paris Fashion Week can be an excellent idea…..That is why Ines and I chose it as the theme for her birthday party, on September 22, featuring a fashion show and disco party in the best eighties tradition.
A setting that even Karl Lagerfeld would love: black and pink party decorations, as a tribute to the timeless Coco Chanel-style, bought on Amazon, including an Eiffel Tower with big pink bow tied around the tip and dominating the whole garden. The backstage with makeup and hairstyling by Coka Club was a fun and chaotic moment followed by a lovely mini fashion show with “baby” top models strutting down the runway guided by our entertainer Katia.
Thankfully, our little fashion models are not obsessed with weight control and they enjoyed the refreshments catered by Tazza d’oro very much: macarons, cupcakes, sandwiches and a black and pink tiered cake decorated with pearls accompanied by delicious Shirley Temple and alcohol-free Mojito cocktails. Then everyone hit the dance floor to the music by Patrick. Pictures were taken, as usual, by Righi, but with a new idea this time: Polaroid shots of the fashion show given to the little top models!
