This afternoon, I pretended to be sixteen years old, when I used to buy new things and wear them all together. My assistant was Ines and she had great fun.
First of all, we bought a one-piece swimsuit, this year’s hottest trend along with high-waisted swimwear, at one of Forte dei Marmi’s many boutiques, then the usual tour of the local Wednesday street market where I bought a scarf and a pair of big vintage earrings at the wonderful stall of Lorena Caravaglia Taddei. Matching Capri pants, a headscarf à la Josephine Baker and here is my fifties-style look.
