There is the legendary one designed by Yves Saint Laurent for Bianca Jagger for her wedding to Mick, but this year the dinner jacket is the holiday season’s must-have for cocktail and New Year’s Eve parties.
Lovely on him, it looks simply spectacular on her. I chose it for the whole family: it was fun to be dressed like my kids, Ines and Josè Manuel. Ines wore a Bonpoint dinner jacket, while Josè sported an H&M suit, beautiful and affordably priced! Mine is by Karl Lagerfeld, with nearly sartorial cut and details. We all wore custom-made shirts by Giacomo Tosetti.
These pictures were taken at the Christmas Village of Giardino delle Fate, a magical place with amazing Christmas decorations. Owing to the owners’ experience and creativity, it looks like a fairy-taleworld. The contrast between us all dressed in dark suits and the Christmas Village’s white room was very effective and it felt like being in the mountains already, at Campiglio, where we will be spending New Year’s Eve together…strictly in dinner jacket. Happy New Year!
